Career Search and Skills Development Programme deadline extended
Due to popular demand, the deadline for the ‘I Am Change Career Search and Skills Development’ programme has been extended until Friday 7 May. This free programme aims to support young people from disadvantaged backgrounds to improve their future prospects and develop the skills that they need to find employment in a post-COVID-19 world.
Young people aged 17-24 years old with little or no work experience can apply for the programme which is set to run from May to September 2021. Through the programme, young people will learn how to overcome the challenges and barriers to employment. They will build their confidence and improve their skills in communication, job hunting, interviews and CV writing, paving the way to future employment.
Special thanks to our partners 2020 Change and HUDL CIC, and our funders BBC Children in Need and Youth Futures COVID-19 emergency support for enabling us to deliver this programme.
