In partnership with Crying Sons Ltd, workshops were delivered on a range of different topics including:

  • Gangs - Why people join gangs, the effect of gang crime on individuals and the community

  • Knives and knife crime - The law regarding knife crime, the implications of carrying a knife

  • The gun crime phenomenon in the UK and the causes of gun crime

  • The social, economic and health implications of illegal drug use, and how to resolve conflict

The programme started in January 2020 with 16 workshops held with 216 people at Lewisham Islamic Centre, St Mary’s Church Peckham, Highgate School Hackney Marshes and Downham Youth Club.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the programme has been temporarily suspended.
