The Hope 2020 campaign is off to a flying start with the first of a series of events starting today (1 December 2020). The events are taking place online over the next week, building up to the National Day of Hope on Monday 7 December, which would have been Damilola
Richard Taylor OBE reflects on the legacy of his son Damilola Taylor, 20 years after his death.
Due to new national restrictions, the 20th anniversary memorial service to commemorate the death of Damilola Taylor has been rescheduled to 19 May 2021.

Richard Taylor took a group of school children who were on half term holidays to the McDonald’s restaurant in Peckham Rye at the invitation of the CEO of McDonald’s restaurant Mr Mike Smith. Mr Smith is a philanthropist who owns 12 other McDonald’s restaurants scattered across London.
On Saturday 10 October 2020 Richard Taylor, OBE of the Damilola Taylor Trust and Gary Trowsdale of HOPE2020 visited Peckham Town Football Club to witness the unfurling of a banner celebrating Black Lives Matter and HOPE2020. To make it an even more memorable afternoon the First XI beat Stansfield 5-0!
