We believe that more support and early intervention can help vulnerable youngsters stay on the right path. Inspired by a public health approach to reducing violence affecting young people, Hope 2020 shines a light on the positive contributions of young people.
Hope 2020 is dedicated to young people and their aspirational stories of ambition and hope, the kind of young person that Damilola Taylor was turning into before his untimely death on 27 November 2000. It is a 20th anniversary legacy campaign for 10 year old Damilola Taylor who dreamed of being a Doctor and who wrote of his hope to change the world.
With the Hope Collective and our growing number of Hope Ambassadors, we are sharing the individual stories of everyday young people and their hopes and aspirations. Through our Wall of Hope, we are providing opportunities for young people to engage with.
